I'd like to personally welcome our new visitors and our faithful 5,000 members to our new forums. Introduce yourself, make friends and most of all, make a carpool. I have been working hard these past 2 months to get this setup and it has been exciting and a challenge. I think if we can all stay involved in these forums and communicate our transportation plans we will be able to help each other out, and that is what this site is really about, helping one another when we can. With gas prices rising, everyday commuters and college students are feeling the pinch at the pump harder, which gives us more of a reason to carpool. Also, with the environment showing more signs of warming, the time is now to carpool.
I know it can feel a little intimidating seeing only 1 post in some areas, but do not worry, there will be more posts. Our "Find a Ride" button is still there to find people who live and work near you. I have faith that this is going to work. Carpooling can be scary, especially when you don't know the other person. So my advice is to stay on the site, get discussions going, make friends and enjoy the many features. Thank you all for your support.
