The "New Rideshare Forums" are RideSearch's latest way to help people find someone to carpool. They are meant to be used
whenever you have a ride to give or need a ride to anywhere imaginable. The forums are for a community of people who
want to save money on gas and help the environment. Wherever you go, think, "can
I post this trip on RideSearch?" and you may save a lot more than just gas.

RideSearch goes above 7,000 members as more people look to carpool.

RideSearch was started on January 1st, 2008 and every month more and more people
are signing up. So check the site often to see if people in your area have signed
up. Our "Find a Carpool" button actually searches for people who live and work near
you. All that is left is for you to communicate with them.

We have reached over 7,000 members this last month and that is a good
sign for those who are looking for a carpool. Carpooling is a green, safe, cost-saving, gas saving
activity that can help the world in many ways. Thank you for signing up on the nation's
                                premier carpooling site.

One of the biggest hurdles to getting a carpool setup is finding someone who lives and works near you.
At RideSearch it is the members that make all the difference. Make sure to update your profile with your locations, that way more people will be able to find you.
We need you to invite those around you to join RideSearch. The more people who join, the better everyone's chances are of getting the ultimate carpool.

RideSearch was thrilled to be a part of the GMA Carpool Challenge. This challenge
took place at the end of July and followed different teams of co-workers around the
country to see what it was like to carpool. Our popular Gas Savings Calculator was
mentioned. In the end GMA asked out of the 20 people who did carpool who would continue carpooling
and 16 people said they would. Many people realized that carpooling was
great for their wallets and for the environment. They realized that carpooling is
a win-win situation. You can see what kind of experiences the carpoolers had by
visiting our Good Morning America page.

The services promise to increase communication among all commuters and employers, helping carpoolers save money on gasoline and helping them stop global warming by reducing carbon dioxide emissions from daily commuting.

"The new version of RideSearch promises to revolutionize the way Americans think about carpooling. Our customized forums allow commuters to meet up to go to the airport, school, vacations, concerts, football games, church, and movies and work," says Brian Bass, CEO of RideSearch.com. "I am excited about this site. I believe it will change the way we all think about carpooling and ridesharing. With gas prices at an all time high and the green movement in full swing the time is now for our social networks to start making a difference in the real world. "

Our companion site, RideSearch.biz, offers advertising opportunities on RideSearch.com. From local ads on a per city basis to nationwide tower ads there is an advertisement for any sized company. RideSearch thanks Southwest Airlines and Blockbuster for bringing awareness to their employees about RideSearch.com.

“I think we, as a nation, have reached a point where alternatives to driving are a necessity. As families get squeezed by higher inflation the need to offset this with conservation is now evident. The best way to conserve gas is to share the price with someone else. People are now deciding to get past their prior reservations about carpooling and RideSearch.com 2.0 will help them find someone they can ride with anywhere and anytime to any event imaginable.”

I hope you enjoy the new and improved RideSearch.com, and keep carpooling for a better tomorrow!

Sincerely,
Brian Bass
